Who is Brite Delights Candle Co.?
Brite Delights was officially formed in 2008 by Ashlie Elmer, Carrie Vickrey and their husbands. With our love of candles we went on the hunt to find Highly Scented, Clean Burning, All Natural Candles and our search resulted in the formation of Brite Delights.
What are the benefits of Soy Wax?
The benefits of burning candles made from soy wax are:
- Soy wax burns cooler than parrafin allowing up to 30% more burn time
- Soy wax burns cleaner resulting in less toxins for you, your children and pets to breathe, not to mention not damaging your home with black soot all over walls, ceilings, drapes, carpets, furniture and electronics.
- Soy wax is non-toxic and over time it won’t harm the environment making soy candles a “greener” choice.
- Soy wax will clean up with soap and hot water.
-Soy beans are a renewable resource and are grown in the USA which support American farmers and the American economy.
What kind of wicks do you use?
We have tried several different kinds of wicks and have landed on 2 that provide the best burn. Depending on the size of your candle we will either use a "Cotton Wick" or a "Cotton Wick with a thin Paper Core for stability.
What kind of scent do you use?
We use the highest quality fragrance oils available. Our fragrance oils have been specifically designed for maximum performance in soy wax. Each scent that we offer is true to its name and is dead on with it's description. You won't be dissapointed!
How do I maximize the performance of my Soy candle?
For maximum peformance follow these simple steps:
- Burn your candle for no more than 4 hours at a time.
- Keep your wicks trimmed to 1/4 inch.
- Don't burn your candle where the flame will be disturbed by a breeze.
- Dip your wick after each use... This will help eliminate any smoking that may occur and will give your wick a fresh start the next time you light it.
After I burn my candle and it hardens, why will it sometimes look "chuncky" on top?
Don't be alarmed by this, you did nothing wrong. Soy is a natural product giving it natural tendency's and sometimes this is just how it hardens.
